Michigan Representative John Dingell appeared on the Paul Smith show and made a shocking statement about how health care will control the lives of Americans.

On Tuesday John Dingell, Democrat from Michigan made an appearance on the Paul W. Smith show in Detroit to sell the president’s health care plan. This on the tail of President Obama promising that, “These reforms won’t give the government more control over your health care.”

That same day the 55 year veteran of the House of Representatives during an interview on the Paul W. Smith show was quoted as saying, “It takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps, to put the legislation together to control the people.” The 83 year old representative had a slip of the tongue that has raised the interest of health care opponents.

The Obama Administration has promised that nothing was going to change regarding our current health care situation. Nevertheless the legislation passed included a special Executive Order concerning funding for abortion in order to secure the final necessary votes for the passage last Sunday night. The legislation also requires that every have coverage or be penalized for not getting coverage. One of the major questions over concern was the need for 16,000 new IRS agents, hired to handle the enforcement of the mandates in the legislation. The President then signed the 2000 plus page legislation less than 48 hours after its passage.
