-Congress claims to shut down domestic spy satellite program

Read about the original program here, and new article here.

This reminds me of when Total Information Awareness was ordered by Congress to be shut down, and then they shifted it into the NSA, FBI, etc. They told the Pentagon (was a DARPA program) it was unconstitutional, so then DOD moved it into essentially all the other intelligence agencies, whom it was meant to join together anyways. So the Pentagon ‘shut it down’, but then sent it to the ‘public’ sector agencies whom it was designed for. And the DHS and the DOJ began building “Fusion Centers” following the TIA vision. Heh, ‘vision’.

  1. Jim says:

The United States long ago became a surveillance state, with much of the present technology developed during the post World War II Cold War.

Perhaps the most disturbing of this technology involves the National Security Agency’s Signals Intelligence operations, which involved the furtive cataloguing of American people’s unique electromagnetic signatures used in place of implanted chips or other forms of gps tracking devices.

See John St. Clair Akwei’s lawsuit against the NSA to learn more. It can be found by using an Internet search engine.
